This rail system will cross our school district #2, Herscher School District which covers 200 square miles of rural roads which these trains will cross. Our students, our children WILL be killed by these trains. Our community WILL be contaminated by the fracking oil when these trains derail as they have in North Dakota. There isn't a system in place that has the kind infrastructure needed to address the spills, including North Dakota. Our small county roads can't take on the semi traffic that uses IL State roads 17 or 113 WHEN traffic must be rerouted due to an accident or spill. As a parent who's son was killed in an auto accident on the way to school in 2008 PLEASE don't let this rail system take ONE life, contaminate ONE acre, or ruin our community.
