Mr. Navecky, Please see the growing list of opposition to this proposal. A list this long raises numerous questions. Was this project fully vetted before going to the STB? Is this project needed or warranted? Does this proposal consider the damage to surrounding communities, lives, wildlife, and environment? No answers have been provided by these many questions. Too many unanswered questions for a project of this magnitude to already be at the federal level. These issues should be of great concern to the federal government. Our federal government is concerned about global warming and the environment, yes? If that is the case then the addition of this rail yard would be extremely detrimental to those things. Please see the list below. I expect that these organizations, counties, townships, etc will have all of their questions/concerns fully answered prior to any proceedings of this proposal. Additionally, that all local governing bodies including their planning and zoning departments have and will be part of the proposed route.
