I am a concerned individual about the purpose, economic, and environmental impact of the GLB Railroad. Please consider the farm land that would be taken out of production. The world was only given a limited area of fertile soil on flat land, with proper rainfall, and with proper temperatures to grow food. That is what the GLB wants to use, taking away natural food producing acres. Economically I've heard that the Rail Lines in Chicago has no interest in a bypass rail line. If they don't need it why should we take land out of production.Environmentally consider the land that will be lost, the chemicals that would be used in the construction, the drainage issues, the maintenance of the right of way,and the movement of plant species seeds by the trains. I think we lose more than we gain Thank You
