Dear Sirs: I am very concerned about the proposed Great Lake Basin Railroad project FD 35952 . The facts aren't clear for the need for this additional bypass around Chicago. The impact to the safety to the community, to the environment, to the existing roadways and to class A railways it will cross is of great concern. I am sure as you gather the facts you will be able to discern this project lack funds, lacks merit, lacks true planning for the 21 century. I am a farmer and very thankful for transportion systems. But I feel this project isn't in the best interest of the American people. Thank you for your diligence in this matter. Ronald Herrold
