The owners of the Great Lakes Basin Rail Line is trying to take over all of the property in question to build and expand their railroad. Is using eminent domain to claim all and make payment for this expansion for nothing else but capitol gain. NOT for the betterment of the people. Eminent Domain is to claim blighted property that has been abandoned, left unattended, etc. All of the property in question here in Kankakee county have families, farms, businesses, houses. There is no Blight. The kankakee county board members should vote against this.
