Re:fd35952 As the Grant Part Trustee in charge of sewers, I can assure you that any construction that will break or remove field tile from surrounding farm areas will wreak havoc on the village sewer system. We are city septic and our primary treatment for sanitary disposal is septic tanks at each home and business. Much damage can be done to these systems with an influx or water during torrential rain events. This is becoming more frequent due to climate change. If you cannot see that construction on this (proposed) scale would destroy a delicate water management system, let me assure you that it absolutely would. The EPA would become involved immediaely. I'm sure the GLB RR has not researched this impact fully. It would be a devastating mistake to allow this project to continue. While I personally have many more concerns, this one is directly related to the environment on my village. Rest assured, you will be hearing about those should this misguided project continue.
