We would like to 100% contest the proposed GLBT railroad running from Indiana to Wisconsin. Our house and farm ground are directly impacted by this rail. It would be 400 feet from our yard. It would run through our field cutting the field in half making farming very difficult. It would impact drainage drastically. We have approximately $120,000 in field tile that we have had installed and $30,000 in water mains that would be impacted also. . We would be losing considerable acreage for farming which is our livelihood and also feeds the world. We are very concerned about the contents that this rail would be carrying also since it is so close to our home and through our farm ground. This would impact police and emergency response times and township roads, as well as bus routes. As this is a rural area, our environment will be violated by air quality and noise and vibration effects. Wildlife and creek habitat would be greatly impacted. Along with the 200 foot easement, a 50 foot utility easement is also added to this easement. This could allow any type of utility to use this which causes other environmental concerns. Please consider all the above concerns when conducting your environmental study of the proposed railroad. Thank you. Jeff and VaLinda King 15501 W. 1500N Road
