Dear Mr. Navecky, Please do whatever you can, send this to whomever needs to see it, get someone at the STB to understand, THIS PROPOSAL NEEDS TO BE THROWN OUT!!! You know all of the facts, the environmental consequences, the safety hazards, the thousands of homes, farms, churches, cemeteries, businesses, schools, townships this would destroy. No further EIS is needed. The GLBT has improperly worked the system and sidestepped the process with corporate lawyers. Who do we have to stand for us?? The citizens, the land owners, the farmers, the elderly, the children??? We don't have big money corporate lawyers to protect us from the threat of loosing everything we have worked for! How would any of you like to live with that threat?? Have you read through ALL of the incoming comments & letters being posted to the STB? I have!!! Every one of them!! The citizens do not want this proposal to advance any further! This proposal should be revoked by the GLBT and rejected by the STB! It is unsafe, unjustified, unwarranted and impractical. We are not saying not in my back yard". We are saying "NOT AT ALL"! This proposal is not a way of creating jobs and economic growth, this is a massive land grab for private profit, taking from citizens who rightfully own property and pay their taxes. Even if it were a viable project, at what cost?? At a cost of destroying people's lives and their way of life?? How is that right?? What about the people that already live here or are wanting to live here? The younger generation of families is talking about getting out of here!!! And others that were talking about buying a house here so they can put their children through an excellent school system are changing their minds!! Is that what you want? to chase people away from here????? It's having a negative impact already! Sumner Township & Grant Park are now being referred to as "Ground Zero"! I ask you, I implore you, please reject this proposal! Now, before it goes any further. No American citizen should have to live with the threat of being forced off their property by any private or government body, no matter who it benefits! This is unconstitutional and un-American.
