I'm very concerned about the fast track" the GLB project has been given. Mr Patton has not submitted an application and given a waiver of the 6 month notification period. This needs further investigation. There is already the CREATE program that is working to make physical and managerial improvements to make the rail system in Chicago more efficient. This proposed project by GLB undermines the CREATE program. Please make Mr. Patton follow all the requirements and give full disclosure on who he is involved with. The Canadian National invested in their own Chicago bypass, and the Norfolk Southern is not interested in using this proposed rail. Please consider that there is no real need for this GLB rail project."
