To date I still have not heard Mr. Patton tell anyone how his toll railroad is going to impact the environment in a positive manner. I have heard and seen a tremendous amount of information and hard facts as to how it will most definitely negatively impact the environment. I also have not heard anyone tell us why a private person knows what is best for our land. I also have not heard anyone step up and explain why this group of “investors” were able to bypass so much of the standard process. It appears that none of the railroads are interested in this railroad it looks like it is being built to fail so that another corporation can come in after it fails and buy it for pennies on the dollar and use it for whatever they want. This entire toll railroad is being fed to the landowner’s one lie at a time by Mr. Patton and his group of “investors”. For the simple fact that Mr. Patton cannot provide any information on how this is a good thing for the environment or for the people that live and make a living off this land you should deny his request.
