Railroads breed pollution & crime of which there is too much in Chicago area now. Why bring that farther out in the pure farmlands of rural Illinois. The Kankakee River basin is the purest river in the Midwest and accidents caused by increased volume of high speed trains carrying larger amounts of hazardous chemicals would surely pollute our streams and rivers beyond repair.
