I have several concerns regarding the Great Lakes Basin Railroad Proposal, besides the loss of my land and home. We have a beautiful creek that runs through our property. What happens to that creek if the Rail Yard goes there? How can we so easily destroy prime farmland, never to get back? The rail yard will be within half a mile from Grant Park's schools. How can this possibly be safe for our kids and town if, in fact, they are carrying dangerous oils or chemicals as we have heard? Please reject the GLB proposal.
