Dear Dave Navecky, Surface Transportation Board and Fred Patton: I have one new comment for all of you. In November 2011 an Intermodal Terminal was proposed in LaPorte County. The idea was shut down because of the potential loss of rural and agricultural land. The project went nowhere. They have moved east of that site to build a Logistics Port. Now with what the board is suggesting and Fred Patton; I can not see how this project can move forward at all. This was back in March 2014. Now they know that it was shut down by the people in LaPorte County in November 2011. WE DID NOT FORGET!! It benefits no one. You have railroads backing out every day. You can't be honest about one thing! That means jobs, exact products being hauled, the environment, emergency personnel, the lists goes on and on. THERE IS STILL NOT ONE GOOD THING THAT COMES OUT OF THIS. THE OLD SAYING: IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT. Sincerely, Trisha Volle
