I am concerned about the proposed GLB corporation that is proposing to build a railroad. My concern is with the Kankakee State Park. This park is home to several types of animals. I don't think that it is right to disturb their habitat with not only taking up land, but the increase in noise, vibration and pollution that will come with the increased train traffic. I also feel that this railroad will be dangerous for animals as they will have to cross the tracks and risk being hit by a train. I also feel that these tracks will serve as a means of animals traveling from different areas, as what was once forest and greenland, will now be a cleared section of land that could act as a highway for the animals to move from one area to another. However, some of these species could become invasive to new areas.
