Dear Mr. Navecky, In light of the recent derailment: An oil train derailment Friday in the Columbia River Gorge near Mosier sent up a massive plume of black smoke and stoked long-standing fears about the risks of hauling crude oil through one of the Pacific Northwest's most renowned landscapes." I beg the STB to reject and cease any further applications & EIS! If this can happen in established railroad systems, why in God's name should the GLBT be allowed to build a railroad/railyard??? They are not a railroad company and their lack of knowledge shows why this application should be rejected. If they have money to invest, let them invest it in CREATE! to improve existing rail, invest it in our country's infrastructure, etc. I don't believe they want to do that because their plan is a massive land grab without concern to the environment at all or the lives and livelihood of the thousands of people this will negatively impact. Their plan is a selfish attempt at "leaving a legacy" and profit for their investors in the name of economic development and threat of eminent domain. Please help the STB to see this for what it is, it is wrong, unjust, unconstitutional, illegal and should be stopped now. Thank you, Julie Kokos"
