Please explain how this quiet line, will be safe for the community. The Serena school district and hundreds of others will have to cross this line daily and with 110, or more, trains racing through our children are being put at risk. My children would have had to cross this line 6 times one way to get to school. That is 12 crossing a day. This is not acceptable, and if the schools have to re-route buses there goes any environmental saving" this proposed and unneeded line will supposedly make. All this line does is add to the costs of schools and first responders in time and gas. And the added time will cause more pollution as buses and emergency equipment wait to cross the line."
