Dear Mr. Navecky: I am writing to express grave concerns over the proposed Great Lakes Basin rail project and its effect on bus routes in Eagle Creek township, Lake County Indiana. We are a rural area and the bus routes are long and the bus rides are lengthy. My son is on the bus for at least 60 minutes in the morning. The route for the bus (see attached) will cross over several at-grade crossings. Not only is this going to create a more lengthy bus ride, but there is a high potential of an accident. With the probability of a train every 13 minutes, basically the bus routes will be severed, with only small windows of time for crossings. I would like to ask that the Board deny this application as it will only cost lives and time in regards to busing. Thank you, Mark Dvorscak
