I appreciate you taking into consideration my strong opposition of the proposed GLB railroad for the following reasons: Light pollution will adversely affect residents in the areas of the proposed rail line. Based on the information Frank Patton has provided the community, as many as 110 trains could use the tracks each day. All residents who live near the proposed tracks would potentially have the lights from the train and the crossing lights polluting their environment as often as every 13 to 15 minutes during the night. This would affect the health of all individuals in the home. I urge you to immediately put an end to this proposal. It does not serve the public interest in any way, shape or form. The CREATE program in Chicago serves the needs of the rail system. This is a private capitalistic venture that serves only those investors and hurts the communities it will run through. Thank you for your consideration.
