GLB railroad, only talks about the jobs" this line will create and how it will be good for the economy. I want the Surface transportation Board to explain to me how this line is helpful to the environment. You are charged with approving or disapproving the line, please explain why it would not harm the environment. Please explain why the loss of farms, the loss of woodlands, the pollution of waterways, the noise and fumes of the trains will not harm the environment. I would like to know why you think the line would be beneficial tot he environment, all GLB can say is "jobs" which how will jobs be created, railroads are not anew invention, if these companies wanted to be near a railroad, they would have built by one already. This whole plan is ridiculous. Please explain who is going to move their factory to be near this line when they did not build near our existing rail lines. This line will simply harm the environment for no reason at all, and will not create jobs because trains are not new, anybody wanting to ship by rail already has the capacity to do that, so why do we need another line?"
