Please explain why this line is being called a Chicago bypass, the line just moves trains further into the southern Chicago area, it does not bypass Chicagoland. This area is considered by most to be part of Chicago and to say it is bypassing Chicago is, while technically true, not really true. I think the destroying prime farmland, impacting rivers and drainage is a huge problem this line creates, especially when it does not bypass the greater Chicago area. This line needs to be built in an area that is not part of Chicagoland. The CREATE website mentions building a line from Mexico to California to prevent shipments going from Mexico to Chicago then to California, such a line would be a bypass, this line does not bypass the already congested area. Because it is not a bypass it needs to be denied, or you need to explain how it is doing anything other than moving trains from one part of Chicago to another.
