How will the 110 train traffic a day affect the existing architecture in Porter County? Houses have not been constructed to withstand the constant shaking of train traffic. Will the vibrations displace people because of damage to the house foundations? How far does the rumbling travel through the ground? There are a lot of historic houses, mine included, that could crumble because of train vibration. Will GLB be held responsible for houses being knocked off foundations?
