As a Grundy County resident and U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran I want you to know that my horse property will be severely impacted if the proposed GLB Railroad project is approved. At risk is a substantial drop in value that I am relying on for my near future retirement. This proposal represents losses for thousands of people both directly and indirectly who own properties near this line. Further, delays at rail crossings will create problems for all those who traverse east and west across the line. Farms and wildlife are impacted. This effort is only to line the pockets of a group of investors with no concern for how it will impact citizens. I ask that a FULL REVIEW be conducted and that this board carefully considers what devastating results for citizens would most certainly ensue if this proposal should be approved. Sometimes I'm sure that it's difficult for board members to see how matters like this really impact people like me. I've attached a picture of my happy home". I hope it can stay this way. Thank you for this opportunity to state my position."
