I am asking you to deny Mr. Patton a permit to build a railroad. He has been planning this project for as many as 7 years behind closed doors without letting anyone know what his real intentions are. He has not informed any elected officials, public officials, land owners or health and safety officers. He has not said anything to farm bureaus, fire districts, emergency service agencies school districts, pollution control agencies or the corp of engineers to get permission to cross streams, creeks or rivers. He releases his intent to run this railroad without ANY EXPERANCE AT RUNNING A RAILROAD!!! He runs to the STB and wants you to give him permission build this railroad without giving any details as to who his backers are or his intended use of the tracks. He wants you to give him the right of eminent domain so he can legally steal our land. He makes claims of free electricity or farmers can use the trains to transport grain or property value to increase, all of which are nothing but a pipe dream. The man wants to leave a legacy for his grandchildren, what about the legacy he is trying to take away from thousands of landowners and residents of the affected area? Ken Daggett
