Please do not approve the Great Lakes Basin Railroad. This line is environmentally harmful and would in Kankakee County it would eliminate school district number 6. Forcing 100's of students outmof their school and worse out of their homes. The proposed rail yard is unneeded as the major railroads already have repair yards. The whole notion businesses would move operations just because this line is built is ludicrous. Railroads are not new and any business wanting to be near one would have already built near one. Do not allow Great Lakes Basin Railroad to uproot families and destroy entire ways of life in the affected areas.
