The GLB Railroad will 1. Disrupt by cutting off township roads 2. Slowing 1st Responders 3.Make farms less productive by dividing them even limiting access to land locked parcels 4. Disrupt waterfowl that heavily use the area nearby cooling lakes and rivers 5. Routing busy train tracks over the Kankakee River and through the Kankakee State Park 6. Disrupt decades old well established drainage. At one time this whole area was part of the Grand Kankakee marsh. Drainage problems are easy to aggravate, Trains and the construction of their tracks would most certainly be a problem 7. Seeing, hearing and feeling train traffic out our windows would definitely disrupt ours and many others lives.
