Mr. Navecky, Thank you for considering this message. I appreciate your consideration and my concerns over the environmental issues that this proposed GLBRR would cause to our area. I'm an avid fisherman, who fishes the Kankakee river. The wildlife habitat is extraordinary. I feel as if the river is not being considered in this matter. This proposed route would bring tons of pollution and oil that would permeate through the ground into local waterways that end in the Kankakee River, contaminating it to exponential levels. Tens of thousands of people rely on this river for their drinking water and daily lives. Assuming a railport of 15,000 acres is built in Sumner Twp decimating the town and community, where do the creeks, ditches, spillways, and run off get diverted to? Will water pipelines channeling this water into the Kankakee river be supplied all the way from this railport? Who will pay for that? If this is not the case, what about water backup in surrounding fields? Farmers in these areas have spent millions of dollars installing field drain tiles to take this water away from their field to not drown the precious crops that this nation survives on. Please consider this as an abomination and extremely detrimental to the environment. I appreciate your consideration. Thank You
