Mr. Navecky, As far as environmental concerns, I am concerned about the devastation of thousands upon thousands of trees. With this devastation and loss of trees and other plant life, we lose good clean air in our atmosphere and replace it with air pollution from rail yards and locomotive engines. As well as the increase in urbanization and infrastucture, which will increase the greenhouse effect and global warming. On my mother's property in Sumner Township, Kankakee IL, she has AT LEAST 250 trees. All those trees would be destroyed by the proposed rail yard. The loss of trees and plants = loss of good clean air. The addition of a 278 mile railroad and rail yard = massive increase in air pollution
