LEE CO. AGAINST GLB RR My concerns surround the effects it will have on the local environment and the safety of our families and farms. The environmental concerns are, but not limited to drainage ditches and the altering of the quality and safety of the creeks. The natural flow of water will be interrupted and cause erosion issues as well as increased flooding. My concerns about safety issues, are for all citizens in our area, as the possible closing of the road that will affect Fire Department routes as well as the proximity of the rail road to several homes/properties that families reside on. Another important issue to note, Mr. Navecky, is this will be taking over 60 acres out of the 100 acres that my father has worked his whole life to be able to purchase and have for his family. I AM ASKING YOU TO PLEASE DENY THIS PROPOSED RAIL ROAD. THANK YOU!
