[kankakee] Mr. Navecky, Let it be known to you, the Surface Transportation Board, Frank Patton and any government agencies/private investors who plan to move forward with the Great Lakes Basin Railroad. This is middle America. The heart, soul and backbone of this country. And the people who live here, well, they aren't weak minded people who will be taken advantage of or roll over at the mercy of the government/railroad. While there may be some who wish to sell quickly and leave, the vast majority would rather die fighting for their land and home than take some cheap buy-out". We are not to be pushed around and trampled on. This is our land. These are our homes. This is our right and our freedom. "When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is Liberty" -Thomas Jefferson And these people in the path of this bullshit railroad ought to be feared. For we will not go quietly."
