Hello Mr. Navecky, Thank you for considering this message and position. Today I'd like to discuss my concern for safety regarding the proposed GLBR. Our communities are small and very rural. Often times a farm house in the country can take significant time to be reached by first responders. In the case of Grant Park (Sumner Twp) we rely on the county (Kankakee) for emergency services. Adding rail lines throughout the township and the potential for a railyard will only increase the lead times to be reached in the case of an emergency. Additionally, the danger and probability for train related incidents will increase dramatically. Please thoroughly consider this prior to any decisions made to negatively effect our rural towns by decimating them with a freight line and rail yard. I appreciate your consideration to this matter.
