[clinton] In wi there are 23 miles of track perposed in that, there are 66 places where farmers will need to cross to the other side to get to the 2nd half of there land...at the meeting in Moris ILL he was asked by someone who's father was hit by a train how he would make the crossings safe for farmers, he said if they chose to commit suiside it isn't there fault ....I'm very consearned for these farmers who have no chioce but to cross ...he doesnt under stand farm equiptment and how slow it is geared it is noisy and it will be hard to hear the trains coming , he said they have new technology that the train will be quiet and it wont vibrate so if it is so quiet and the farmer has no warning its coming at 70 mph a lot of farmers and the children running equiptment will die a whorable death farming children drive tractors leagly at younger ages 13 or 14 please asure to not have all these seperations of farmland and be sure they have at grade crossings 25-30 feet wide to get equiptment across and have them have some sort of signal for the farmer so they know a train is comming with curves and hills it may be hard to see them. Also make sure they put up fencing to keep our animals from being hit they are cutting through the middle of lands that are fenced and now with 270 some miles of cutting through fences animals will run the countrysides. I feel they chose the middle of each field because its easier than clearing fence rows to go along
