The proposed railroad would cut across existing roads which would delay emergency services. In addition it would destroy valuable farm land an disrupt the peaceful rural setting with noise and pollution. Many people now take advantage on these rural setting to bicycle. The railroad would also increase the traffic and vibration on the existing railroad of Wisconsin Southern which runs very close to the Milton House which is on the National Historic register as one of the few documented stops on this nation's underground railroad, and given in unique grout construction could be easily damaged by this.
