I would like the board to take into consideration what I consider our most important natural resource that will be lost forever by the construction of any new railroad beds which are being proposed for this project. That is the farm ground/soil. this is not what I would consider a renewable resource, unless we all have the thousands of years to wait that it originally took to form what is there now. We will loose this forever and along with it the food and other products that are currently produced and all future production. So as consideration is taken for the affects on wetlands, drainage, and other naturally occurring things. I would like you to consider the affects of reducing the amount of fertile non replaceable soil will have on the current and future generations.
