ATTN: Dave Navecky - Docket No. FD35952 Surface Transportation Board Office of Environmental Analysis| 395 E. Street SW Washington, DC 20423-0001 Mr. Navecky: I would like to express my concerns over the proposed Great Lakes Basin Transportation, LLC rail line project. I attended the meeting at the Seneca High School in Seneca, Illinois on Thursday, April 14 and listened to the viewpoints of concerned citizens who oppose the Great Lakes Basin LLC rail line project. As a land owner in Grundy County, Illinois, I also oppose the project because it divides my land, ensures constant noise levels and transports toxic chemicals. In addition, I’m concerned about the rail line damaging the tiles beneath the farmland causing flooding to crops. Finally, the waterway on my farm was reshaped under the CRP program to protect the land from erosion. This project will not protect the land. To conclude, the GLB Rail Line is not advantageous to farmers, landowners, or people in the community. Therefore, I’m asking you to deny the GLB project and protect our community and landowners’ rights. Our lives and values matter! Sincerely, Cindy Kohler 839 David Street Kewanee, Illinois 61443
