[Mount Prospect] This new railroad will greatly impact drainage. Train tracks are almost always evevated in some manner, this elevation and the rails themselves will prevent the natural flow of water. There is o way around this. The line will a ad t as a dam blocking waterflow and making prime farmland unuseable wetlands. This line will also disect fields creating small unfarmable plots in many cases. This plots will become eyesores and dumping grounds for trash. The plots will be inaccessible or if thhey are acessible they will be undevelopable as no one will want to live by the track. Who is going to pay for the trash unauthorized people will dump on these plots. Who will maintain them? What plans are in place to do something with the small 1 to ten acre plots that are going to be created. They will be more expensive to farm than they are worth and undevelopable because they are too small for a rail shippingt business and uninhabitale because of the noise and vibrations of the train. Who also is going to protect the farmers crossing this track to get from one side to another on their private" crossing? They are expected to risk their life to cross the line with no lights or gates and a train coming every ten to 15 minutes? Who is going to look out for them? Please ddeny this poory thought out business plan."
