[Mount Prospect] This proposed new railroad is supposed to reduce congestion, and at the same time increase total rail capacity. This two goals are incompatible. The so called bypass also does not take any trains out of the metro area. So this line brings more trains to an already congeste area. A true bypass wouldd take trains out of the area. For example a line running from Kansas City to detroit would bypass the Chicago Metro Area. This line does not do this, for that reason the line needes stopped.
