Mr. Navecky, Grundy County Farm Bureau put forth the effort to arrange a Q&A session with Mr. Patton at Morris High School on May 2, 2016. I wish a representative from your office had attended. Particularly given the level of economic incompetence demonstrated by Frank Pattons answers. They were somewhere between evasive and ignorant when speaking of property values and taxes. His answers about job creation are not verifiable, even by the sources that he cited to us. I checked them online after his meeting concluded. His view of devaluation of personal property is that It's value will increase"....NOT SO. It is as simple as this. If no one wants to buy my property located 250 feet from HIS multi rail train line..."What is my property REALLY worth?"...and it is a direct result of Mr. Pattons railway. His pipe dream about noise control?... 278 miles of sound barrier?... Really? That was his answer. The man has no clue about a field tile, drainage, or what that really is? Mr. Patton demonstrated a level of distrust, ignorance and incompetence second to none last night. I am sure it was filmed, and I'm also sure if you obtain this film you will not waste anymore time, effort and tax payer dollars with this endeavor. Do the tax payers a great benefit and just end this thing now...There is a term called "waste, Fraud and Abuse"... and pursuing this is a textbook example of it."
