I am adamantly opposed to any rail system going through any part of northern Illinois, the extreme noise pollution it would cause in a normally quite country setting would disrupt the everyday piece and quiet that we in the country have become accustomed to, and that is the reason we live in this area, to get away from this kind of pollution, air, noise, and the possibility of water pollution caused by a leak or contamination to the ground caused by a train derailment and major leak from unsafe tank cars. We in the country receive our water from wells on our land and they could be easily contaminated by any kind of spill. This will also cause serious problems with any livestock, or do serious damage to grain crops for many years down the road. The long term environmental impact could be disastrous to hundreds of farmers who depend on a safe and clean environment to earn their livelihood. Please think about the long term affect of this project and deny their request. Ken Daggett
