stressful question, no answers, realize have no control, feel decision already decided, STB is just going through steps-- otherwise this crazy project would already be stopped. Feel hopeless. How much land I toil for years to care for will be destroyed? What will it do to my conservation program, my waterways, my expensive tile system? How do I deal with the abnormal deep compaction caused by heavy construction equipment (construction crews have proven not to respect others land) How will the equipment get to site? What growing period will they attack? Who is responsible for weed control? How much crops will be destroyed? who pays? How many miles will I need to move my slow large equipment to my segregated section? Will my neighbors give excess land to reach this plot? Will I be forced due to train sell this section, which will be at a reduced price ( thanks to R/R). With lost in income from easement will I be able to pay loans on expensive farm equipment? Will I need to move the family away from trains that hope to operate 24 hrs, one every 15 minutes. Can I afford a lawyer that is good enough to protect my rights. STB will say mitigation will take care of these issues---HA, HA, HA. It is sad to live in America and be a hard worker.
