As a 5th Generation resident and a docent at the Boone County Historical Museum I researched Modern Farming for the Mural which depicts the History of Boone County in images and is used as a tool for self guided tours as well as a guide for docents leading tours. Attached is that research. Please don't approve this unnecessary railroad across Boone County and disrupt the livelihood of successful farmers. The possibility of a few temporary construction jobs can never replace the lifelong occupation of farming. The lives of all of our citizens would be negatively impacted.
