A rough estimate of a typical" railroad overpass is 250,000 cubic yards. The cost of construction will quickly force the reduction of crossings and cut off more roads than the current plans show. Second concern is the area of Route 64 and the proposed railroad overpass. I have driven this route many times and noted the geology. A DETAILED, geological study is need to see if a railroad could/should be built on this ground. The site may be unfit to support the proposed project. Finally, has Homeland Security made any comments about trains filled with North Dakota crude passing overhead of Interstate Highways?"
