[Rockford] Our farm will be decimated by this rail project. We would not be able to produce enough income to pay the high taxes and utilities. If we sell, and we would have to, we could not sell to any one planning to live on the property since the train runs very close to the farmhouse and barn. It would even be difficult to sell it as farmland since the rail cuts off part of the tillage. This will be the death of many small farms in the area. Our family has lived on this land since the 1800's. This will destroy our family's identity.
