I am asking you to deny Frank Patton permission to run a rail line through northern Illinois. This is some of the best grain producing land in the country. The lose of revenue to the counties affected due to lose of crop production, the lose of depreciated land value on the right of way itself and the adjoining land for at LEAST a mile either side of the line would be an extreme hardship on an already cash strapped state, county and local towns.
