The impact on our existing transportation network would be devastating for our community. We are a community of farmers and we depend our Rt 2 and our local backroads to move our machinery. If there is a supposed train running every 15 minutes or so ....how are they to get from field to field ? By the time the got through one train crossing , there would be another one to cross. If this rail line is to cross Rt 2 , how long would it take to get thru the crossing. Rt 2 is a busy work route and ambulance route. What if there were an emergency that the fire dept needed to get thru either Rt 2 or a backroad.?
