From: Gary Gilbank <garyg@gilbankconstruction.com> To: David.navecky@stb.dot.gov" <David.navecky@stb.dot.gov> Date: 04/08/2016 11:41 AM Subject: Docket #FD 35952 Great lakes Basin Railroad: Request for time extension to file comments David, I have great concern about how quickly this process is being scheduled for review and comments. Many people in my area share the same concern. The March 18th notification of the proposal with public scoping meetings scheduled from April 11th through April 21st with comments due May 16th is very aggressive time frame. Considering how critical this issue is and what a huge impact it has on or area this is not enough time for affected resident to properly research such a complex issue. This also comes at a time of the year when those most affected are busy in the fields planting crops.. It only seems fair to give those affected a reasonable amount of time given their already busy schedules to give this the proper due diligence. I would respectfully request a 90 day extension to the date for filing comments. From May 16th to August 16th, 2016. This seems like a reasonable request given the extenuating circumstances and the gravity of this proposal. Sincerely, Thank You Gary Gilbank Gilbank Construction, Inc.
