We are living in the heart of a large agricultural resource. While I understand that industries often compete for the same assets, in this case agriculture was here first. To upset the balance in a powerful agricultural community in a blatant land grab would be a disgrace. To think that this would be only to add yet another rail line in an already extensive network in northwest Indiana is shameful. My children would be within a half mile of this track while at school. This would be detrimental to their safety as there would be more crossings to bring the children to school. The long term effects to this line would also be damaging to this top rated school as the student base would be eroded as parents opt for schools not threatened by another railroad. Please refrain from scarring our community with the addition of ANOTHER rail line. Thank You Kelly Beaver
