[Clinton] It feels like fiction, that a major rail artery could be in my back yard. There are many people with concerns and emotions, none that I have met are in favor of the GLBT project. Enough conjecture. The only real concerns I have are simple. 1) The safety of farmers and livestock crossing rails to get on the land divided by the rail. 2) If farm machinery or livestock damage the rail through normal use, would GLBT be responsible for the repair costs or would they try to take more from the farm owner. I have also thought that this rail seems to be overkill, a 70mph line that connects to 15mph lines. It reminds me of the people that stay in the left lane of a high way when just a mile ahead the lane ends. They didn't get ahead and they put others at risk of an accident.
