Dear Dave Navecky, I spend a half hour on the phone with Mr. Patton today. He tried to convince me how wonderful this project will be and how my home value will go up. The conversation started with road closures in our area. These road closures would be a significant safety hazard in our area. It would create fire and police to be five minutes further away from our home and many others in our neighborhood. Our school buses would be on the road longer and have MANY new crossings. I'm not sure why this railroad turns and weaves so often leaving LOTs of crossings and lots of potential for accidents. Having new drivers in the our in the next few years this is a significant worry. Please say no to the GLB Railroad. Its environmental, safety, and economic risks outweigh the need or benefits. Sincerely, Janet Hall
