Dear Mr. Navecky, My concern with this proposed railway route is the environmental impact it will have. The farmland in this area is a national resource. It is some of the best in the country. We all know derailments occur and this railroad will be carrying hazardous materials. It would seem to be the squandering of natural resources for monetary gain. We also have a huge glacial drinking water aquifer running beneath our area. This should be protected from hazardous contaminants at all cost!Safety issues with railroad crossings and derailments in our remote area are yet another concern. Please do not approve this railroad route!!!
