Dear Mr. Navecky, I'm not well versed when it comes to the ins and outs of the ladders of politics, but my heart tells me that you ARE a part of being a valuable resource regarding the proposed railroad project from Indiana through Rock County. You're smart enough to know the arguments. People who can be affected have family farms, nurseries, and so on. My husband and I moved to Clinton for peace and quiet to raise our 2 little boys. We have a small 3 acre parcel and many friends in our area. This railroad proposal by GLBT is horrifying to me. I don't understand how a for-profit company can impose eminent domain and start ruining small towns and farms, etc.? Our neighbors have a small dairy farm that's been passed down for generations. This proposed railroad would travel right through the land they grow their corn on to feed their cows. This proposed track would be about 10 feet from our driveway. At 110 diesel trains per day, going 70 mph, carrying millions of gallons of hazardous materials, our dreams are ruined. Our property value will plummet and we won't even be able to sleep with our windows open. In addition there are environmental issues to consider and water flows being disrupted. I truly hope there is a way that you could help or try to understand our position. Thank you for your time. Daniele Miller
